Roy Lichtenstein

 

Roy Lichtenstein (1923-1997) is one of the most famous Pop-Art-artists. His work was heavily influenced by both popular advertising and the comic book style.
Lichtenstein's work as well as contemporaries such as Warhol hold relevance today and many of the messages portrayed can be directly linked to modern day life
